We can supply a variety
of types of lids or sleeves and trays, most of whcih are supplied
diecut from flat card and creased to be folded by the client as
the product is packed. However, some designs are pre-glued down
the longest edge which makes them easier to assemble.
The main advantage of a
folding trays is the space saving, as the extra space that rigid
made up box lids and trays require make them very costly to transport
and store. Cost is also saved as the print is applied directly to
the card thus saving extra operations involved with rigid boxes.
By using a lid or sleeve
and tray, the product is presented as a very high quality item.
A sleeve is effectively an open ended box which wraps around four sides of a rectangular or trapezoid shaped product.
We produce sleeves to go over polygonal inserts, trays, and most plain corrugated boxes and they can be produced in coated solid board and also in corrugated for heavy duty uses.

This item is a sleeve over a tray the trapezoid shape makes an interesting pack and the sleeve is folded and glued to create a hanger for the pack. The tray is plain card which is diecut, the 2 sides are pre-glued to make assembly easy. The sleeves are printed in 3 colours and UV gloss Varnished.

These Sleeves are printed on white lined folding box board which has a cream back and is suitable for use with food products. This grade of material is preferred even though the food is sealed into the tray at the point of preparation. The sleeve also has slits cut into each end on one side at the base to create a tab these tabs can be pushed back and lock the tray in place.

The tray is made from E Flute white/brown corrugated card the sleeve is printed and matt varnished. This packaging is used successfully for an Indian takeaway food company the food is sealed in six food trays and placed in the card tray, the sleeve is removed and the food can be eaten out of the tray on your lap and this is what a Thali is.

This pack comprised of a Bolster tray which creates a double wall when assembled. The tray had an insert and a sleeve with an acetate window to show the gloves. This project was printed and packed by us using bulk supplies of gloves which arrived in a container from the Far East, we assembled the trays, unpacked the gloves and repacked them in our trays, individually labeled. We then packed the product in outers to ship direct to a wholesaler.

A sleeve can be a very economic and professional way of presenting a corrugated or polyfoam pack. The sleeve is easily printed in colour or bright graphics covering a pizza style box made from a functional material such as E or B Flute corrugated.

This
box comprises a lid and tray set normally manufactured in 500 Micron
card the set is supplied die cut to shape and flat it folds and locks
together. This pack is quite time consuming to assemble and we would
recommend that they are used only for short runs. However the overall
effect is one of a quality product.

This
pack was originally designed to hold a set of CDs and square
recipe cards but here was used to hold a chocolate medallion, which
we mounted in a printed insert. This product was shipped to the client
ready assembled with the card insert.
Size of box is 125 x 125 x 20mm deep.

glued style this lid and tray is very easy to assemble just pull the
sides up and tuck the ends in. The dimesions of the box are 125mm x 176mm x 25mm and it is designed to take large postcards of size 120mm x 170mm.
This lid and tray set are die cut and supplied

assembly as the ends fold up and lock into the locating slots in
its side. This makes this type of tray suitable for longer runs.
